Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Birmingham. You will be instrumental in providing psychiatric care to patients, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to enhance patient care.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to monitor and evaluate treatment effectiveness.
  • Educate patients and families on mental health conditions and treatments.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions that promote recovery.
  • Supervise junior staff and provide mentorship where necessary.
  • Assist in the development of mental health programs and policies.
  • Participate in research and quality improvement projects.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Facilitate workshops or support groups for patients and families.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Psychiatric Nursing or related field
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in the UK
Experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in mental health care settings.
