Job Description

We are seeking a talented Commercial Green Building Architect to lead our sustainable design efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting innovative architectural solutions within the commercial sector, focusing on green building strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project design strategies that align with sustainability goals.
• Conduct energy modelling and environmental assessments to guide design decisions.
• Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals for new projects.
• Mentor and support junior architects and intern staff in design methodologies.
• Collaborate closely with the construction team to resolve any design issues that arise during construction.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Architecture or relevant field is preferred

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial architecture with a focus on sustainability.

Technical Skills

• Energy modeling software
• Sustainable retrofitting experience

Soft Skills

• Negotiation skills

Certifications

• PMI Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with energy modeling: Familiarity with energy modeling software to assess building performance.
• Experience in project management or team leadership roles: Proven track record in leading teams and managing architectural projects.
