Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Travel Agent to join our dynamic team at Leading Travel Agency. The successful candidate will assist clients in planning and booking their travel arrangements while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
• Use travel booking systems and software effectively to manage bookings and payments.
• Collaborate with travel partners and suppliers to negotiate better rates and exclusive offers.
• Arrange special requests such as dietary accommodations, event tickets, or travel insurance.
• Provide post-trip support and feedback collection for continuous improvement.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Degree in Travel Management, Hospitality or related field is a plus

Experience

• Experience in sales or customer service roles is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with GDS systems
• Experience with online booking platforms

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking
• Strong negotiation skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with travel industry regulations and compliance: Understanding of key industry laws and compliance.
• Experience with special requests such as dietary arrangements: Ability to cater to specific client requirements.
