Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technician to join our healthcare team in Carlisle. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic imaging examinations, ensuring high-quality imaging accuracy and patient comfort.

Responsibilities

• Execute high-quality ultrasound scans as per medical guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with patients to alleviate anxiety.
• Record and ensure the accuracy of patient information and imaging results.
• Participate in continuing education to stay updated with best practices.
• Contribute to a team-oriented environment by supporting colleagues in diagnostic processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Sonography
• HCPC registration preferred but not mandatory

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in ultrasound imaging

Technical Skills

• Diagnostic Imaging
• Equipment Maintenance

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Empathy

Certifications

• Advanced Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ADMS)
• CPR Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
