We are seeking a skilled Language Cleaner to join our team. As a Language Cleaner, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and precise language usage across various documents and content. This role requires exceptional attention to detail and a strong understanding of UK English.

Responsibilities

• Edit and verify translations for accuracy and cultural appropriateness.
• Standardise language use according to established guidelines.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Conduct linguistic reviews and provide feedback to team members.
• Utilise editing and proofreading tools to enhance content quality.
• Assist in developing and updating style guides.
• Participate in training sessions for new team members.
• Research industry-specific terminology and integrate into documents.
• Engage in team meetings to discuss project progress and challenges.
• Support the team in achieving overall quality objectives.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Linguistics, Translation, or a related field is preferred

Experience

• Experience in language editing, translation, or proofreading will be advantageous.
