Job Description

As a Retail Category Manager, you will oversee product selection and strategy for your designated category. You will work to enhance profitability, maintain competitive pricing, and curate our product offerings to meet the varied needs of our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the growth and profitability of the assigned category.
  • Gather customer insights and feedback to guide product selection.
  • Work closely with marketing on product launches and promotional strategies.
  • Utilize analytics tools to track performance metrics and driving insights.
  • Identify opportunities for cost-saving and efficiency improvements.
  • Implement category-specific initiatives to enhance customer experience.
  • Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Ensure product quality and supplier adherence to standards.
  • Conduct regular store visits to assess category performance on the ground.
  • Collaborate with supply chain for seamless logistics and replenishment.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Retail Management or related field
  • Master's degree in Business Administration is a plus
Experience
  • 5 years of relevant experience in category management
