Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous Stamp Analyst responsible for evaluating stamps, determining their authenticity, and providing expert valuation services to our esteemed clients. This role requires in-depth knowledge of philately and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of stamp collections to ascertain authenticity and value.
  • Identify rare stamps and their market potential through rigorous evaluation.
  • Document findings and maintain precise records for stamp appraisals.
  • Educate clients on stamp preservation and market trends.
  • Collaborate with colleagues for effective authentication processes.
  • Attend industry-related events to expand knowledge and professional network.
  • Offer recommendations to clients for buying, selling, or trading stamps.
  • Participate in discussions and forums about philately.
  • Assist in organizing exhibitions and seminars related to stamp collecting.
  • Actively contribute to the development of internal evaluation standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Art History, History, or a related field
  • Professional certification in philately is advantageous
Experience
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in stamp analysis or a related field
