Job Description

We are seeking an IT Support Technician to provide technical assistance and support to our users in Glasgow. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT systems and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to and manage incoming support requests to ensure timely resolution.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to implement system improvements.
  • Provide training and support to staff on new technologies.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides.
  • Assist in managing IT projects and initiatives.
  • Participate in maintaining a secure IT environment.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Relevant technical certifications are desirable
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in similar roles
