Job Description

As a Vertebrate Zoology Curator, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and preservation of our extensive vertebrate zoology collection. Your role will involve cataloguing, researching, and ensuring the proper care of specimens while contributing to scientific publications.

Responsibilities

  • Curate and manage the vertebrate zoology collection, including acquisition and cataloging.
  • Engage in collaborative research projects and presentations.
  • Organize and conduct workshops and educational sessions for various audiences.
  • Mentor junior staff and assist in their development.
  • Implement best practices for conservation and collection care.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Zoology, Biology, or related field
  • Master's or Ph.D. degree in Vertebrate Zoology or a related discipline (preferred)
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in vertebrate zoology and collection management
