Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Jet Inspector to join our team. As a Jet Inspector, your primary responsibility will involve conducting thorough inspections of jet engines to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations. You will use various non-destructive testing techniques to identify issues and contribute to maintaining the highest safety standards in the aerospace industry.

Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications relevant to jet engines.
  • Utilize various inspection tools and equipment efficiently.
  • Engage in regular audits of inspection processes to ensure compliance.
  • Document findings and maintain a database of inspection results.
  • Liaise with the maintenance team to ensure timely repairs of any identified issues.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss improvements in inspection methodologies.
  • Provide training to junior inspectors on best practices.
  • Ensure all inspections are conducted in accordance with the company’s safety protocols.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the inspection team.
  • Prepare reports for management summarizing inspection activities.

Requirements

Education
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Additional certifications in aviation maintenance or quality control are highly desirable.
Experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in jet engine inspection or related field.
