Library Systems Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Library Systems Manager to lead our library's technology integration and systems management. The ideal candidate will ensure that our library management systems are efficient, user-friendly, and adapted to the evolving needs of our users.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic planning of library technology initiatives.
• Monitor library system performance and implement improvements.
• Coordinate with IT support for troubleshooting and system upgrades.
• Develop and maintain documentation for library systems and processes.
• Facilitate training sessions for library users and staff.
• Assist with budget management related to library technology purchases.
• Promote digital literacy and assist patrons with technology use.
• Foster relationships with software vendors for system enhancements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Education Technology
• Master's degree in Library and Information Science is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in library system and digital resource management

• Content Management Systems (CMS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
