Job Description

We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Nottingham team. The role involves providing detailed financial insights, conducting market analysis, and assisting in budgeting processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed financial reports for stakeholders to assess business performance.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, coordinating with various departments.
• Perform profit and loss analysis to understand business impact.
• Evaluate and improve existing financial processes for efficiency.
• Assist in preparing business proposals and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
• Conduct risk assessments related to investment opportunities.
• Participate in regular finance meetings to review operational results.
• Support the Finance Director in strategic initiatives and projects.
• Engage in financial modelling and scenario analysis.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or relevant field
• Master's degree in a related field preferred

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in a financial analyst role

• Financial Software

Certifications

• CFA Level 2 is a plus
• ACCA or CIMA certification preferred
