Boat Deckhand

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Boat Deckhand to support our crew in ensuring safe and enjoyable trips for our passengers. The ideal candidate will assist with the operational duties onboard, maintain the cleanliness of boats, and ensure safety protocols are followed.

Responsibilities

• Support the Captain and crew in daily operational tasks.
• Enforce safety protocols and assist in emergency situations.
• Manage the organization of the equipment and supplies onboard.
• Facilitate loading and unloading procedures effectively.
• Assist with teaching safety practices to passengers.
• Participate in crew training and development sessions.
• Keep detailed logs of activities and observations during shifts.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in hospitality or service roles is beneficial.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of Maritime Regulations

Certifications

• Safety Training Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with customer service software: Experience with systems for managing customer interactions.
