Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Animal Shelter Worker to join our team in providing care and assistance to the animals in our shelter. This role involves various responsibilities related to animal welfare, shelter maintenance, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Implement animal training and behavioural enrichment programs.
• Engage with the public to promote responsible pet ownership.
• Assist in the design of educational materials for outreach.
• Help maintain inventory of supplies required for animal care.

Requirements

Education

• Degree or certification in Animal Care or related field

Experience

• Prior experience working in an animal shelter or veterinary clinic is preferred.

• First Aid certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Previous participation in community outreach programs: Experience in promoting animal welfare through local events.
