Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Sheffield. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute civil engineering inspections during various project phases.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new projects.
  • Collaborate with environmental consultants to ensure compliance.
  • Optimize designs for cost efficiency and sustainability.
  • Prepare and analyze project proposals and tenders.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to clarify project goals.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of all engineering processes.
  • Participate in training and development programs for team members.
  • Advise on innovations in engineering technology and practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years in civil engineering, preferably with project management experience
