Job Description

As a Ship Engineer, you will be pivotal in the development and maintenance of ship construction projects. This role demands a detailed understanding of maritime engineering principles and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design efforts and develop plans for various maritime engineering projects.
  • Conduct examinations and tests on structures to ensure they meet industry standards.
  • Prepare and manage project documentation and specifications.
  • Interface with clients to define project requirements and expectations.
  • Monitor project progress and resolve any technical issues.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing projects and upcoming tasks.
  • Provide mentorship to junior engineers and trainees as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture or equivalent
  • Professional certifications in maritime engineering are advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in marine projects, with a focus on structural integrity and regulatory compliance.
