We are seeking a skilled Chemical Engineer to join our team in Birmingham. The successful candidate will work on a range of projects aimed at developing and improving chemical processes and products. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring product quality, optimizing production processes, and upholding safety standards across the board.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and evaluate experiments to develop new products.
• Assist in the scale-up of processes from laboratory to production level.
• Ensure all processes meet industry standards and environmental regulations.
• Monitor and analyse production performance metrics.
• Work closely with suppliers to ensure quality and consistency of raw materials.
• Participate in team meetings to share findings and recommendations.
• Develop training programs for junior engineers and technicians.
• Maintain a clean and safe laboratory environment.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in chemical engineering or a related field
