Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Houseman to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of our refrigeration systems. Your expertise will play a vital role in maintaining optimal conditions across our facilities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with commercial refrigeration systems and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections of refrigeration systems and document findings.
  • Effectively manage emergency calls and respond promptly to refrigeration malfunctions.
  • Ensure environmental sustainability by implementing energy-efficient practices.
  • Assist in planning and executing preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of tools and spare parts related to refrigeration.
  • Collaborate with suppliers for ordering parts and equipment effectively.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills.
  • Contribute to team meetings to discuss challenges and improvements.
  • Engage in troubleshooting and repairs of HVAC systems as required.
  • Foster a positive work environment with strong teamwork.

Requirements

Education
  • Refrigeration and Air Conditioning apprenticeship or equivalent
  • Valid F-Gas Certification
  • Additional relevant certifications or qualifications are preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in refrigeration maintenance and repair
