Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Scan Coordinator who will manage and implement scanning projects across various departments to ensure accuracy and timeliness. The successful candidate will work closely with team members to coordinate priorities and improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Create personalized learning experiences for students with various disabilities.
• Monitor and assess student performance to inform instructional adjustments.
• Work with teams to create a supportive and inclusive classroom culture.
• Engage parents and caregivers in the educational process through communication and workshops.
• Participate actively in special education department meetings for professional growth.
• Utilize assistive technology to aid in the education of students with special needs.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Special Education or a related field is preferred
• State teaching certification in Special Education

Experience

• Experience in implementing behaviour management strategies is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of IEP development
• Training in therapeutic approaches

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Certified Autism Specialist

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Certification in Autism Spectrum Disorder: Special certifications are beneficial for students with autism.
