Shoe Machine Operators and Tenders

Job Description

The role of Shoe Machine Operator involves trimming and shaping the heels of shoes to align with quality standards and customer specifications. This position is critical in ensuring that all finished products meet our exacting quality control measures.

Responsibilities

• Trim and shape heels with precision for a variety of shoe types.
• Utilize quality control processes to maintain product standards.
• Ensure all production equipment is properly maintained and operated.
• Work with colleagues to meet daily production targets.
• Report any defects or quality issues promptly to management.
• Participate in maintenance checks and equipment troubleshooting.
• Assist in the training of new team members in heel trimming techniques.
• Maintain a clean and efficient workspace.
• Support the implementation of new processes aimed at quality improvement.
• Remain flexible to perform other duties as assigned within the workshop.

Requirements

Education

• No formal qualifications required

Experience

• Previous experience in footwear manufacturing or a related field is preferred
