Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Scientific Writer to join our dynamic team in Edinburgh. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality scientific documentation, including research papers, grant proposals, and presentations. You will collaborate with scientists, researchers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication of complex ideas and findings.

Responsibilities

  • Create comprehensive reports that reflect the outcomes of scientific research.
  • Support grant writing processes by crafting compelling proposals.
  • Collaborate with other writers and editors to refine content as necessary.
  • Utilise data visualisation tools to represent complex information effectively.
  • Ensure proper citation and compliance with ethical standards in all documents.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, or a related discipline
  • Master's degree in Science Communication is an asset
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in technical writing with a scientific focus
