We are looking for an experienced Terrapin Fisher to join our team. You will be responsible for catching Terrapins using various methods and tools, maintaining equipment, and monitoring local Terrapin populations.
Responsibilities
Catch and release Terrapins in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.
Report on the condition of aquatic habitats and suggest improvements.
Work in various water bodies to monitor aquatic biodiversity.
Assist in training new team members on the best practices for capturing Terrapins.
Conduct field surveys to describe Terrapin habitats.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences or related field
Relevant certifications in aquatic management are preferable
Experience
3+ years of experience in aquatic environments or fisheries management
