Job Description

As a Pattern Worker at Fashion Forward Ltd., you will play a vital role in the garment production process. Your primary responsibility will be to create and modify patterns based on design specifications, ensuring a perfect fit and adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop new patterns for various clothing lines based on seasonal trends.
• Conduct fittings and make necessary adjustments to ensure best fit.
• Work alongside the design team to ensure accurate representation of concepts.
• Document all pattern modifications and maintain an organized library.
• Assist in the training of new team members in pattern making techniques.
• Review finished garments to confirm patterns meet quality standards.
• Utilise software tools to create and modify digital patterns.
• Collaborate with fabric suppliers to understand fabric properties.
• Manage workload efficiently to meet tight production schedules.
• Participate in design meetings to provide technical insights on pattern development.

Requirements

Education

• A degree or diploma in fashion design or related field

Experience

• 3+ years in the fashion industry as a pattern maker

Technical Skills

• Sewing Techniques

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with sustainability practices: Understanding of eco-friendly materials and production methods.
