Job Description

As a Structural Metal Fabricator and Fitter, you will play a crucial role in refining and assembling metal structures. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in metal fabrication processes and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and fit metal components for various marine applications.
• Use precision tools to achieve high-quality finishes on metal surfaces.
• Interpret technical drawings and follow specifications meticulously.
• Work closely with engineers and design teams to resolve fabrication issues.
• Train and mentor junior fabricators as needed.

Requirements

Education

• NVQ Level 2 in Fabrication and Welding or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in ship propeller manufacturing or finishing is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Ability to work with precision tools
• Physical endurance

Soft Skills

• Good communication skills
• Time management

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience working with large-scale metal components: Hands-on experience with complex structures in fabrication.
