Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Wildlife Conservation Manager to spearhead our conservation initiatives. You will be responsible for developing strategies to protect local wildlife and habitats, overseeing conservation projects, and working closely with community stakeholders to raise awareness on environmental issues.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and mentor a team of conservation specialists and volunteers.
  • Initiate fundraising campaigns to support conservation efforts.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of conservation programs.
  • Coordinate with scientists and researchers to ensure evidence-based decisions.
  • Advocate for environmental protection legislation and policies.
  • Participate in public speaking engagements to promote conservation efforts.
  • Foster partnerships with local businesses to support sustainability initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, or related field
  • Master's degree in a related discipline is highly desirable
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience leading conservation projects
