Job Description

The Forming Department Supervisor will be instrumental in overseeing the operations within our forming department. This role requires a strong leader to ensure production targets are met, while maintaining high quality standards and team efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the Forming Department.
  • Ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
  • Monitor equipment performance and address any issues to minimise downtime.
  • Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimise production processes and resolve cross-functional issues.
  • Analyse production data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency.
  • Participate in performance evaluations and disciplinary actions, when required.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of production activities.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices related to glass manufacturing.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in a manufacturing-related field preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years in supervisory role within manufacturing industry.
