Oil Refinery Process Technician

Job Description

As an Oil Refinery Process Technician, you'll play a critical role in maintaining and operating the equipment that processes crude oil into valuable products. You will monitor various parameters, ensuring safety and efficiency throughout the operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
• Provide support during the start-up and shut-down of refinery operations.
• Contribute to the development of operational procedures and safety protocols.
• Assist in emergency response situations, following established procedures.
• Foster a collaborative environment, communicating effectively with other team members.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Technical qualifications in Process Technology or related fields are highly desirable

Experience

• At least 2-3 years of experience in an oil refinery or chemical plant

• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Equipment Maintenance

Certifications

• Process Safety Management Certification
• Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP)

Languages
