We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our Coventry team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and components, focusing on efficiency and innovation. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure product excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects from conception through completion.
• Utilize CAD software for designing mechanical components.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality materials are used.
• Perform root cause analysis for failures and propose enhancements.
• Mentor junior engineers and support their development.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations in all engineering processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field
• Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience

Technical Skills

• Ansys
• AutoCAD

Soft Skills

• Communication Skills
• Time Management

Certifications

• Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE)
• Lean Manufacturing Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
