We are searching for a Telecommunications Engineer to join our dynamic team in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of network architecture, telecommunication systems, and will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead projects for network upgrades and troubleshooting.
  • Implement new technologies and ensure seamless integration.
  • Collaborate with vendors and contractors to install equipment.
  • Create and maintain inventories of telecommunications equipment.
  • Assist in the development of telecom project plans.
  • Conduct regular audits of network performance.
  • Provide training to team members on new systems and processes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Master's degree is an advantage
  • Network Design Proficient in network architecture and implementation.
  • VoIP Technologies Experience with Voice over IP systems and protocols.
  • Telecommunication Systems In-depth knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure.
  • Project Management Ability to manage projects from inception to completion.
  • Problem-Solving Skilled in diagnosing and solving complex telecommunications issues.
  • Communication Strong ability to convey technical information clearly.
  • Team Collaboration Effective team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Critical Thinking Ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
  • Certified Telecommunications Network Specialist (CTNS)
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Experience with Virtual Networks: Practical experience with software-defined networks and virtualisation.
  • Knowledge of Emerging Technologies: Interest in the latest telecommunications innovations and trends.
