Small Animal Caretaker

Job Description

As a Small Animal Caretaker, you will be responsible for providing daily care and support to our small animal residents. This includes feeding, grooming, and monitoring their health to ensure they stay happy and healthy.

Responsibilities

• Feed, groom, and care for small animals while providing emotional support.
• Sanitise all animal habitats regularly to ensure a healthy living environment.
• Track and report the well-being and health-related issues of animals in your care.
• Support the veterinary staff with medication administration as needed.
• Participate in socialisation and enrichment activities for the animals.
• Contribute to the maintenance of inventory for animal supplies.
• Engage with operation and administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant qualifications in Animal Care or similar fields are preferred.

Experience

• Experience in a rescue or shelter environment is beneficial.

• Advanced Animal Care Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent
