Job Description

We are on the hunt for experienced Petroleum Refining Equipment Operators who can manage and optimise the day-to-day operations of our refining processes. This role involves collaborating with a variety of teams to maintain high-quality production standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimise refining processes.
• Conduct emergency drills and prepare for contingencies.
• Assist in training new operators and team members.
• Monitor and report on equipment performance metrics.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant vocational qualifications are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years in refinery operations or heavy machinery handling

Technical Skills

• Understanding of refinery processes

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certification in Hazardous Materials Management: Knowledge of handling and processing hazardous materials.
• Experience with control room operations: Familiarity with operating controls and monitoring equipment from a central location.
