As a Cooperer at Craft Barrel Co., you will craft and repair wooden barrels and casks, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and workmanship. Your expertise will play a vital role in our production processes within the beverage and distillery industry.

Responsibilities

• Craft and maintain wooden barrels and containers with precision.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality and compliance.
• Assist in selecting materials based on project requirements.
• Utilize both traditional and modern woodworking techniques.
• Work with colleagues to meet production targets efficiently.
• Train junior staff on safe handling of tools and techniques.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues during production.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production strategies.
• Contribute ideas for improving manufacturing processes.

Requirements

Education

• Vocational training in cooperage or woodworking is preferred.

Experience

• Experience in barrel construction or related crafts will be an advantage.

Technical Skills
