Job Description

Join our innovative team as a Special Education Teacher at the Middle School level. Your role will be to develop and implement effective educational strategies tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.

Responsibilities

  • Assess students' academic performance and create tailored educational strategies.
  • Lead engaging lessons that accommodate varied learning styles and abilities.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
  • Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and respect.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop holistic support plans.
  • Utilize assistive technology to enhance students' learning experiences.
  • Coach and mentor student aides and support staff as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
  • Master's degree is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in special education or a related field
