Soil Science Analyst

Job Description

As a Soil Science Analyst, you will play a critical role in analysing soil health and contributing to projects aimed at improving agricultural practices and environmental sustainability. This position requires a strong background in soil science and fieldwork.

Responsibilities

• Collect and test soil samples from various sites and environments.
• Analyse data using statistical methods and report results to project stakeholders.
• Collaborate in interdisciplinary teams to implement sustainable agricultural practices.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for local farmers on soil health.
• Contribute to community outreach programs focused on environmental education.
• Monitor changes in soil health and evaluate the impact of management practices.
• Research innovative soil management techniques to promote sustainable agriculture.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree in Soil Science or a closely related discipline is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of practical experience in soil assessment and analysis
