Job Description

As an Environmental Impact Consultant, you will play a crucial role in assessing and mitigating environmental impacts across various projects. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in environmental regulations and a strong understanding of sustainability practices.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations of potential environmental impacts of proposed projects.
  • Prepare and present findings to clients and regulatory bodies clearly and persuasively.
  • Develop strategic recommendations to enhance environmental sustainability.
  • Conduct compliance audits to ensure adherence to environmental regulations.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design environmentally-friendly project operations.
  • Assist clients in achieving sustainability certifications and improvements.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of assessments and reports for accountability.
  • Review and assess project feedback to incorporate into future strategies.
  • Research and stay current on emerging environmental trends and technologies.
  • Support disaster recovery and response planning in relation to environmental concerns.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree in Environmental Engineering is highly regarded
Experience
  • 5+ years in environmental consulting and project management
