Job Description

We are seeking a Tax Specialist to join our team in Edinburgh. The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of UK tax legislation and demonstrate strong analytical skills. This role will involve advising clients on tax implications and ensuring compliance with regulations while delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tax projections and advise clients on potential tax liabilities.
• Assess the impact of tax legislation changes on client accounts.
• Provide strategic input on corporate tax matters.
• Attend client meetings to discuss tax strategies and compliance.
• Conduct tax reviews for new client acquisitions.
• Deepen client relationships through ongoing communication and service improvement.
• Create and maintain tax compliance checklists for various clients.
• Assist with the development of tax-related marketing materials.
• Participate in industry workshops and seminars for continual learning.
• Uphold the company’s ethical standards and procedures in all client dealings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in tax advisory roles
