Job Description

As a Metal Finisher at MetalWorks Ltd., you'll be key in ensuring that all metal products are finished to perfection before they reach our customers. This role demands keen attention to detail and expertise in various metal finishing techniques to guarantee that we meet strict quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance on finishing tools and equipment.
• Monitor finishing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Implement improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality.
• Assist in training junior finishers on best practices and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with quality control to refine finishing recipes and standards.
• Document finishing processes and maintain logs.
• Contribute to team meetings to discuss workflow and product feedback.
• Support the development of new finishing techniques and processes.
• Help in troubleshooting issues that arise during the finishing process.

Requirements

Education

• Training or certifications in metalworking techniques

Experience

• Experience with specific metal finishes such as chrome plating or powder coating is a plus.
