Job Description

As an Alligator Trapper, you will play a crucial role in wildlife management. Your primary responsibility will be to capture and safely relocate alligators from populated areas, ensuring the safety of local communities and the integrity of wildlife habitats.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively trap and relocate alligators following established guidelines.
  • Conduct site inspections to identify alligator habitats and potential risks.
  • Educate communities about living safely alongside wildlife.
  • Work with biologists to monitor the local alligator population.
  • Ensure all equipment is well maintained and suitable for trapping operations.
  • Document all trapping activities accurately for compliance and reporting.
  • Participate in team training sessions and wildlife conservation workshops.

Requirements

Education
  • Valid Alligator Trapping License
  • Knowledge of wildlife management practices is preferable.
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in wildlife trapping or a similar role.
