Tax Consultant

Job Description

As a Tax Consultant, you will provide expert tax consulting services to clients, advising on tax compliance, planning strategies, and regulations. You will collaborate with clients to ensure they meet their tax obligations while optimising their financial position.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with clients to gather information for tax preparation.
• Assess clients' financial situations and recommend tax solutions.
• Prepare internal reports regarding tax compliance status.
• Assist in training and mentoring new team members.
• Develop relationships with clients to ensure high levels of service.
• Monitor deadlines for tax filings and maintain client communication.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or related field
• Master's degree in Taxation preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in tax advisory or consulting

Technical Skills

• Tax Compliance Knowledge
• Financial Reporting

• Problem-solving
• Client Management

Certifications

• Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT)
• Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW)

Languages

• English: Fluent
