We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our vibrant team in Glasgow. In this role, you will manage financial records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with regulations. Responsibilities

• Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
• Prepare financial statements and maintain accounting records.
• Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation.
• Handle payroll for employees and ensure compliance.
• Provide training to junior staff on accounting processes.
• Evaluate and improve financial processes and systems.
• Research and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Implement financial controls and risk management practices.
• Ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Additional certifications (ACCA, CIMA) are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years experience in a professional accounting role
