Job Description

The Cyber Defense Incident Responder will be pivotal in identifying, investigating, and responding to cyber threats within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess robust technical skills and a deep understanding of cybersecurity protocols, enabling them to analyse security incidents and mitigate risks effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Lead investigations into security incidents, providing actionable insights.
  • Coordinate with external agencies on incident responses when necessary.
  • Assist in the development of security tools and applications.
  • Provide regular updates to management on the security posture of the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Participate in emergency response exercises and drills.
  • Create and update documentation related to security protocols and incidents.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Master's degree is an asset
Experience
  • 5+ years working in cyber security, specifically incident response
