Metal-Refining Furnace Operator and Tender

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Metal-Refining Furnace Operator and Tender to manage the operation of our food processing equipment. The successful candidate will ensure that all products are processed to meet the highest quality standards while maintaining a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the retort pre-cooker.
• Calibrate equipment settings to maintain optimal performance.
• Perform regular checks to prevent any operational hiccups.
• Maintain production logs and report discrepancies.
• Supervise team members and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Assist in inventory management of ingredients and supplies.
• Engage in continuous training for equipment updates and safety standards.
• Promote a culture of safety and quality within the team.

Requirements

Education

• Qualifications in Food Technology or equivalent are preferred

Experience

• Experience with automated food processing equipment is advantageous.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
