Sodder Specialist

Job Description

The Sodder Specialist will manage and maintain the sodding processes for diverse landscaping projects. This position demands strong physical endurance and extensive knowledge of various sodding techniques.

Responsibilities

• Level and prepare soil adequately for sodding.
• Conduct installation, repairs, and replacement of sod efficiently.
• Apply water and fertilisation to support newly laid sod.
• Maintain and operate sodding machinery effectively.
• Assure that sodding is executed to meet deadlines and high quality expectations.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including designers and land planners.
• Regularly assess sod vitality and take necessary actions.
• Facilitate training sessions for newcomers in sodding methods.

Requirements

Education

• No formal qualifications required, but certifications in landscaping or horticulture are advantageous.

Experience

• Experience in landscaping or sodding is preferred, but not essential.

Languages
