Job Description

We are seeking a Collision Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing collision damage on vehicles, preparing accurate estimates, and providing exceptional customer service. With a focus on detail and accuracy, you will ensure that customers have a clear understanding of the repair process.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect damaged vehicles and determine the extent of repairs needed.
  • Draft detailed reports on vehicles and prepare estimates based on findings.
  • Liaise with insurance adjusters to facilitate claims processing.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair options and costs.
  • Coordinate with repair technicians to ensure accurate assessment and planning.
  • Document all interactions with customers and keep records updated.
  • Provide excellent customer service that helps drive customer satisfaction.
  • Regularly attend training sessions to stay current on industry trends.
  • Assist with promotional activities aimed at increasing service awareness.
  • Evaluate parts and labour costs to ensure competitive pricing.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Vocational training in automotive repair preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in collision estimating or a similar role
Technical Skills
  • Collision estimating software

Certifications
  • NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Damage Repair
Languages
  • English: Fluent
