Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Consultant to join our dynamic team in Carlisle. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing accurate diagnoses using medical imaging technologies and collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret radiological images and provide detailed reports to referring physicians.
  • Work collaboratively with specialists to integrate imaging with clinical care.
  • Promote patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
  • Participate in departmental meetings to discuss case reviews and strategies.
  • Advise on and implement improvements to imaging services.
  • Ensure adherence to ethical guidelines and patient confidentiality standards.
  • Manage patient follow-ups for imaging findings and recommendations.

Requirements

Education
  • MBBS or equivalent medical degree
  • Postgraduate qualification in Radiology
Experience
  • 5+ years of clinical experience in radiology

  • X-ray Interpretation

Certifications
  • Royal College Membership
  • Additional CPD certifications in radiology
Languages
