Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Safety Inspector to join our construction team in Rochdale. Your role will be crucial in enforcing safety standards, conducting site inspections, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
Perform safety audits and risk assessments on construction sites.
Identify potential hazards and implement measures to mitigate risks.
Collaborate with construction teams to develop effective safety protocols.
Lead safety meetings and training sessions for staff.
Monitor personal protective equipment (PPE) usage and compliance.
Document all safety inspections and maintain accurate records.
Assist in developing safety improvement plans based on site observations.
Requirements
Education
NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety
Bachelor's degree in Safety Management or related field is preferred

3+ years of experience in a safety role within the construction industry
