Job Description

As a Reinforcing Iron and Rebar Worker, you will play a critical role in assembling and connecting iron and steel components on various construction sites. Your work will ensure the integrity of structural elements, including beams and columns.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints to assess project specifications.
  • Cut, shape, and weld steel pieces according to project requirements.
  • Ensure that all tasks are completed with precision and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with engineers to verify installation specifications.
  • Conduct safety checks on equipment before use.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work site.
  • Assist in training new workers on safety protocols and techniques.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Technical Skills
  • Metal Fabrication
Soft Skills
  • Critical Thinking
Certifications
  • Additional welding certifications preferred.
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Operating Crane Certification: Experience operating cranes and other lifting equipment will be beneficial.
  • Experience Working in High-Rise Construction: Experience in high-rise construction projects will be a significant advantage.
