Job Description

As a Construction Project Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in managing construction projects from initiation to completion. You’ll oversee project schedules, budgets, and ensure quality compliance while acting as the primary liaison between clients, subcontractors, and project teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring milestones are met.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure design specifications are achieved.
  • Monitor project expenses and prepare financial reports.
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during the construction process.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with local building codes.
  • Organize project meetings and document minutes for distribution.
  • Train and mentor junior project coordinators and interns.
  • Engage in continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance project workflows.
  • Ensure quality standards are met by conducting regular inspections.
  • Support the Project Manager in strategic planning and resource allocation.

Requirements

Education
  • HNC in Construction or related discipline
  • Degree in Civil Engineering is preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in a relevant construction role

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD: Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and its application in construction planning.
