Job Description

The Survey Rodman will play an integral role in assisting surveyors with precision mapping and data collection for diverse projects. This position requires both outdoor and office work, highlighting the importance of accuracy and adherence to safety regulations in all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support surveyors in fieldwork and data collection activities.
• Utilize equipment such as theodolites and GPS systems to gather survey data.
• Log and analyse collected data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with the team to develop survey reports and documentation.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on survey tools and equipment.
• Engage in problem-solving during field tasks to address challenges.
• Participate in safety briefings and adhere to protocols on site.
• Stay updated with the latest surveying technologies and methodologies.
• Assist in cross-training team members when necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Training in surveying or related field
• Further education or certification in surveying is a plus

Experience

• Experience using survey equipment and software is essential.
