Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Paving Operator with hands-on experience operating paver machinery to join our dedicated team. You will be responsible for laying asphalt and ensuring high-quality finishes on roads, driveways, and other surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operation and maintenance of paving and tamping equipment.
• Achieve precise asphalt layer thickness through vigilant monitoring.
• Establish effective communication with various team members.
• Document work processes and material usage efficiently.
• Implement safety measures and encourage team compliance.
• Evaluate project requirements and adjust processes accordingly.
• Offer insights for operational improvements and efficiency.
• Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and work requirements.

Requirements

Education

• CSCS Card
• NVQ in Asphalt Laying or relevant qualification

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Technical Skills

• Asphalt Mixing Knowledge
• Grade Control Technology

Certifications

• Health and Safety Training
• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with laser screeds: Experience in operating laser screeds for precision paving.
• Maintenance Skills: Ability to perform minor repairs and maintenance of paving equipment.
